Troon Links is a collection of three tremendous courses; Troon Darley, Lochgreen and Fullarton, which play alongside Barassie, Portland and Royal Troon to form a collection of six courses that surrounds the famous golfing town of Troon.
The Darley and Lochgreen courses are primarily used for medal competitions, while the Fullarton is often utilized for junior medals and practicing.
Darley is a traditional links course which offers a true challenge to even the most accomplished golfer. Featuring tight fairways and plenty of hazards, it is widely recognised as one of the country’s toughest golfing challenges.
The Lochgreen is the longest course of the three running alongside Royal Troon and used for several years as a qualifier for the Open Championship. The Lochgreen is predominately a links style course, with stretch of 4 holes that are parkland in nature.
Fullarton is another links style course with narrow, undulating fairways surrounded by heather and gorse along with deceptively tight and testing greens.
